MOLD PROJECT SCOPE
An automotive housing, cover or bracket can require a very different mold from another part with a similar name. Share its current revision, intended assembly and any customer-specific acceptance requirements. We assess the mold for the component you submit.
We coordinate custom mold development through manufacturing partners. The deliverable is the finished mold, with trial samples for your testing; we do not take ongoing die casting production orders.
PREPARE YOUR INQUIRY
Clear 2D or 3D part drawings are the best starting point for a formal quote; STEP or STP is preferred when available. An assessable physical sample is another route. Photos can begin a preliminary discussion.
Start With Your DrawingsFROM REFERENCE TO HANDOVER
After payment, we prepare a 3D mold design for your approval. Manufacturing starts after you confirm it. We then run a mold trial and mail samples for your testing. Once you approve the samples, we ship the finished mold.
Send current part drawings or discuss an assessable sample.
Agree the mold scope and project terms.
Confirm the 3D mold design before manufacturing.
We make the mold and send trial samples for your testing.
The finished mold ships after sample approval.
A typical mold project is approximately 30–40 days from payment. The actual scope, approval milestones and shipping arrangements are confirmed for each project.
