More about this project

We supply molds, starting from one set. Your product drawings or physical sample guide the quotation, and your approval of the 3D mold design comes before manufacturing begins.

01

A mold supply service, starting from one set

Our service is for buyers who need a custom mold for an aluminum die cast product.

Project details

Our service is for buyers who need a custom mold for an aluminum die cast product. The order can be one mold set. We do not currently accept die casting volume production orders or separate orders for machined parts.

Photos of automotive, lighting, electrical or industrial components help illustrate possible mold applications. They are not a catalog of finished parts for sale. Tell us which product you need to make, then provide the product information needed to assess the mold project.

02

One contact across the manufacturing stages

EXACTMEC is your contact for project information, mold design confirmation, manufacturing communication and sample feedback.

Project details

EXACTMEC is your contact for project information, mold design confirmation, manufacturing communication and sample feedback. Manufacturing is coordinated with partners rather than presented as production in a factory owned by EXACTMEC.

Before an order, we discuss the requested mold, the available drawings or sample, and the intended use. Project specific requirements must be reviewed before they become part of the quotation. This includes requirements for the receiving production equipment when the mold will be used at your facility.

  • Keep the current product drawing version clear.
  • Identify customer requirements that affect mold acceptance.
  • Confirm the agreed scope through the quotation and project communication.

Manufacturing follows your mold design approval

After payment, we prepare the 3D mold design and send it to you for confirmation.

Project details

After payment, we prepare the 3D mold design and send it to you for confirmation. The product drawing used for quotation and the mold design prepared for approval are different documents.

Manufacturing begins after you confirm the mold design. Review the design with the people who will use or approve the mold. If a requirement changes during the project, raise it with us so we can discuss its effect on the scope and schedule before proceeding.

Trial samples come before mold shipment

Once the mold has been made, it is trialed to produce samples.

Project details

Once the mold has been made, it is trialed to produce samples. We send samples to you for testing. You assess them against the product requirements agreed for the project and share the result with us.

When you confirm that the samples are acceptable, the completed mold is shipped. This sample stage supports mold acceptance; it is not the start of a volume production service. Sample quantities, acceptance details and shipping arrangements are discussed for the individual order.

Start with information that can be assessed

A clear product 2D or 3D drawing, or a physical sample, is needed for quotation.

Project details

A clear product 2D or 3D drawing, or a physical sample, is needed for quotation. If you are still gathering these, you can send a basic inquiry first and tell us what is available.

The typical project timing discussed is about 30–40 days from customer payment. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival date. Confirm the applicable milestones and the effects of design approval, sample testing and transport in your project discussion.

Part drawings

Clear 2D or 3D product information, with the current revision.

OR

A physical sample

An assessable product sample. Discuss arrangements before sending it.
