PROJECT PROCESS
From your product information to a completed mold
A custom mold project moves through a series of customer and manufacturing decisions.

Confirm the 3D Mold Design
After payment, review and approve the 3D mold design before manufacturing starts.

Approximately 30–40 days from payment.Confirm milestones; not a guaranteed arrival date.
More about this project
This is the process for EXACTMEC aluminum die casting molds: assess the product information, agree the quotation, prepare the mold design after payment, manufacture after approval, and ship the mold after your trial sample acceptance.
Describe the product and provide a drawing or sample
Start with the product for which you need a mold.
Project details
Start with the product for which you need a mold. Clear 2D or 3D product drawings, or a physical sample, are required for quotation. Let us know which information is available when you complete the inquiry.
Include the number of mold sets, the planned purchasing time and any requirements you already know. If you have a particular budget, you may share it with a currency, but a budget alone cannot define the mold. A basic inquiry is welcome before all quotation information is ready.
Review the quotation and confirm the order details
We review the available information and discuss the proposed mold project with you.
Project details
We review the available information and discuss the proposed mold project with you. The quotation needs to reflect the product requirements and the mold supply scope, rather than a generic price for a pictured part.
Payment terms, sample arrangements, transport and other order details are settled in direct communication. Website information and the initial inquiry do not replace the quotation or create an order. Clarify any point that will affect your decision before making payment.
Approve the 3D mold design after payment
After customer payment, we prepare the 3D mold design and send it for confirmation.
Project details
After customer payment, we prepare the 3D mold design and send it for confirmation. This approval stage comes before mold manufacturing. It is not a mold design service promised before quotation.
Check the design with your project team and raise questions before confirming it. If your product requirements have changed since quotation, tell us at this stage. The current approved information should remain clear to everyone involved.
Manufacture the mold after design confirmation
Manufacturing starts after you confirm the mold design.
Project details
Manufacturing starts after you confirm the mold design. EXACTMEC coordinates this stage with manufacturing partners and remains your contact for project communication.
The typical timing is approximately 30–40 days from customer payment. That starting point is payment, even though manufacturing follows design approval. It is an estimate rather than a promise that the mold will reach your site within that period. Confirm the relevant project milestones when discussing the order.
Test the samples, then receive the mold
After the mold is completed, we conduct a mold trial and send the resulting samples to you.
Project details
After the mold is completed, we conduct a mold trial and send the resulting samples to you. Your team tests the samples and provides feedback against the agreed requirements. Keep that feedback connected to the relevant sample and drawing version.
Once you confirm the samples are acceptable, we arrange shipment of the completed mold. Testing, feedback and shipping are distinct steps. Discuss sample quantities, transport arrangements and any concerns directly with us so the next action is clear.

It begins after customer payment. It is an approximate project timing reference; confirm which milestones it covers and the transport arrangements for your order.
Manufacturing begins after you confirm the 3D mold design prepared following payment.
Yes. Trial samples are sent for your testing, and the mold is shipped after you confirm that the samples are acceptable.
Yes. Tell us whether you have a physical sample or are still preparing information. Clear product drawings or a physical sample will still be needed for quotation.
